Hibiscus Jewel is an oil painting I have done anticipating the arrival of these sweet Hummingbirds. Every year I love to plant hibiscus and watch the hummingbirds playfully drinking the nectar from the beautiful Hibiscus flower. They are so magical to watch. The painting was prepped by using iridescent gold acrylic paint on top of the surface and the sides before adding juicy oil paints., it gives it a wonderful glow. The painting measures 12” x 6.5” on wooden cradle depth 1.5/8”. She comes ready to hang to adorn your walls.
